Snow & Inclement Weather Policy – GraceCity

We will endeavor to keep the church facility open and ministries operating as much as possible. There are times, however, when weather and road conditions dictate that services, ministries and the facility must be closed. The following material outlines these policies.
Decisions to close (or not) are made on a campus by campus basis.
Because of the number and variety of ministry activities at Grace, it is not possible to announce every closing or cancellation. Each ministry or activity needs to make arrangements ahead of time for disseminating snow closing information to the people involved in that ministry.
Important Safety Note: Weather conditions in the Baltimore region can vary substantially. Even though services or events are not cancelled, only you can decide whether conditions in your area will allow for safe travel. Please use your own best judgement regarding travel conditions in your area.
Posting of Information
Closings or cancellations referred to below are posted on the Grace web site (http://www.gfc.org) and on the phone system (410-561-8424).
Weekend Services
Sunday Evening Service closing information will be posted no later than 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
Ministry Specific Cancellation Policies
Events and ministry activities may be cancelled due to weather. Please contact your ministry’s leader or look at the GraceCity campus site (www.gfc.org/gracecity) for more information.
