The Library at Grace has over 7,700 books, audio tapes, and videos available to you. Our collection consists of:
- Books and videos for children (birth to age 8), junior (9-14), and young adult (15-18)
- Adult fiction and non-fiction Video and audio Bible studies for individual or group study
- Reference books available for in-depth study
We are open every Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (during July and August, we will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and every Saturday from 7:00 to 7:30 p.m. (right after the service.)
Resources may be borrowed for an initial period of three weeks and renewed once for three weeks. Renewal may be done in person at the library or by calling the library at 410-561-8424 x267. Returning items is very easy at the book drop outside the library entrance.
The library computer program can search for a resource by title, author, subject, or type. Our resources are catalogued by the Dewey Decimal System according to standard library procedures; and our resources and library cards are bar-coded for easy scanning, speeding up the borrowing and returning process.
Because of duplicate donations, we often have a large selection of free books available. We are still accepting donations, particularly recent Christian publications and children’s books and DVD’s. We are also still in need of volunteers to help staff the library.
If you haven’t gotten your library card, or even seen our selection, please stop in and join our growing number of patrons! We are located in the gallery, across from the Great Room.
If you are interested in helping or just to get more information, contact Lea Hartman at deanlea@manor.org or leave a message at the library (410-561-8424 x267).
