Do all of the preschool children have a snack every week? Should I bring a sippy cup?
Snack is provided on a weekly basis for our 2 year old classroom. The children are given a few Rold Gold pretzels or cheerios. They will also be given a cup of water. We recommend that you bring a labeled sippy cup with your child’s name if they are not used to drinking out of a paper cup.
Our other classes have a special snack when the curriculum calls for it as an activity that relates to our lesson.
If a special snack is served, the food items are posted on the classroom door so parents can make the decision if their child can have those items due to food allergies or sensitivities.

Can I stay with my child?
We encourage all first time visitors and those that have a resistant child to come in and stay with us for a while or the whole time. Each parent/guardian will need to wear a visitor’s nametag and be introduced to the teaching team so we are aware that someone new is in our room. However, we cannot allow adult visitors to leave the room with another child for any reason or to assist them in the bathroom.
Can my children stay together if they are different ages?
We encourage you to allow each child to attend their own age appropriate class. Although we want to have each child feel comfortable, it is important for each child to be in their own community to build relationships with children their own age.
