Dan & Sarah
Ten years ago, Dan Brintnall and his wife Ruth, followed their beautiful daughter Sarah through the doors of Grace Fellowship Church. Sarah is a 20-something year-old young woman who is affected by Cerebral Palsy and was drawn to Grace through our Disabilities Ministry. Dan’s life looked to the outside world as if everything was fine, but that was only an illusion.
As a result of God’s love reaching into his life through the people and ministries of Grace, Dan began to open up about his challenges. Through Grace, God led to him Dr. Charles Edwards who was able to repair his back to levels he never thought possible. But his addiction raged on. On January 5th, his wife Ruth prayed over Dan as he detoxed in their home. She assured him that the power of the Risen Lord was inside him and would give him all he needed to overcome his addiction. God answered their prayer in a powerful way. Dan’s life is restored, his hope renewed. He is addicted no more. As Dan says, “Ruth has her husband back!”
What if the seeds of our Disabilities Ministry had never been sown? Or the seeds of Grace? Would Dan have had the courage and faith to face his addiction? Would Ruth have prayed the powerful prayer she prayed? Seeds of Grace produced an eternal harvest of freedom, healing and hope!
